Melik Ohanian – Streetlights of Memory, A Stand by Memorial 2010-2015

Melik Ohanain installs Streetlights of Memory – A Stand by Memorial, 2010/2015, in the state of progress in which the work, planned for the public space of the city of Geneva since 2010, is currently. For the Pavilion of the Republic of Armenia at the 56th Venice Biennale (Golden Lion of the Best National Pavilion), the installation presents the 87 dismantled elements that constitute the final work – The Streetlights of Memory – which pays tribute Armenians who were victims of the 1915 genocide.
